» PLOT «
In 1714, in a moment of desperation, a Addie makes a bargain to live forever, but is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets. But everything changes when, after nearly 300 years, Addie stumbles across a young man in a hidden bookstore and he remembers her name.

While I really liked this book, there were some really slow parts that I didn't enjoy reading. Specifically the chapters set in the past.

The last 30% or so of the book was the best, the beginning 70% was slow and kind of boring.

The ending was good. I wasn't a big fan of the fact that (view spoiler), though I will admit it would be justified. I'm just a fan of unconventional or "wrong/bad" shipping/relationships.

At first glance, I'd say some of the relationships was underdeveloped. Especially between Addie and Henry (hence why I don't root for them as much). They clearly were first interested in each other because of (view spoiler), and that just doesn't seem like a great introduction. As for Addie and Luc, they clearly had more time together, but also not a lot of development (just more than Addie and Henry). I don't know, I'm a bit conflicted. I mean, I'm not Addie, so I don't hate Luc.

» READABILITY «
This book was a bit slow, and while that isn't necessarily a bad thing, I noticed I was rushing through the book to get to the "good" parts.

» CHARACTERS «
The three main characters, (Addie, Luc and Henry) were great.

» WRITING «
The writing isn't bad, it's just that the book is slow and dense(?).

God damn, tears for this ending.
