I really wanted to like this book. A cute coming-of-age romance with an asexual main character? Sounds fun, right?! It wasn’t.
The entire premise of this book is that Alice sees a boy so cute it makes her question her asexuality, and she spends the rest of the book struggling to communicate with her friends, parents, and new crush. To be clear, I didn’t hate this book, and the asexual rep wasn’t bad. It just isn’t a genre I normally like anyway, and the cutesy wattpad-style writing and plot made it difficult to read and enjoy. If you normally like contemporary romance, you may like this one. It just wasn’t for me. :/
