The Guncle Abroad by Steven Rowley
4.0

Another wonderful, heart warming, tear inducing story that I just loved. Patrick is such a funny and smart character and I would love to travel the world with him. And of course all the other characters are charming and intriguing and so very vivid to make this story so good. This book again deals with loss, but also how to keep going and living after loss; how to find happiness and not hold yourself back in fear. Love and loss are always tangled up and I love how Patrick not only helps his niece and nephew navigate that, but himself as well. Plus the setting was lush and stunning and many of the tourist aspects had me cackling.

PS: The audiobook is narrated by the author who does a FABULOUS job! Highly recommend it!
