As someone who is not generally a fan of this author I’m shocked by the enjoyment I got from this book. I started it late last night and couldn’t finish it because I fell asleep but believe me I tried. I didn’t want to stop. I was drawn in by the idea of hearing from our death row inmate and the turns the story took were great. It felt full length without being full length and that’s not an easy taste so I just give credit where it’s due.
