This books is full of some triggering content that may bother people such as abuse, neglect and miscarriage. That being said, this book is written so well and the tough themes are handled with care. I really liked Crosy and Kenna's story and was excited to get to it after seeing them appear in the first book and wondering how their story would go. It's clear they disliked each other from the start, and it was very interesting to see them go from enemies to falling in love and getting their happily after ever, particularly Kenna after all she has been through. I think this had the potential to be better than it was, but it was a perfectly fine story that got the job done if you want to read something like this.
