I had the urge to listen to an audiobook this afternoon and I've been meaning to re-read this again since I finished the series earlier this year, so I picked this up and devoured the audiobook in a few hours! This is one of my favourite stories and I love Artemis Fowl as a character so this was the perfect way for me to fill up a few extra hours.

I re-read this on audiobook in a couple of hours today and I really enjoyed it! I really enjoy the fairy politics & rules, they're so interesting! This was such a fun re-read, especially with the movie coming out later this year. Hopefully, I'll continue the series this time!

Also, I know a lot of people struggle with the Irish accent, but the audio is really clear and easy to understand.

Okay, I put these books off for a while because I thought I might be too old to enjoy them. I was wrong. Artemis Fowl is a 12 year old villainous genius.
I honestly had no idea what this book was about but I think that's the best way to go into these books. The only thing that one need know about these books is:
1. The main character is a villain 2. Captain Holly Short is not to be messed with and 3. Butler is a badass.
p.s I feel like Holly and Artemis are going to be a thing later on in the series.
p.p.s I would definitely recommend the audiobook, the accents are really good!
