⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
I got Watson & Holmes vibes from the two main characters John Doyle and Thomas Braham which I loved about it, I also loved that it was told through diary entries along with letters. The only problem I had is that it dragged in some spots but it still had me hooked. It made me uncomfortable and it got under my skin, and I loved it. It showed how far a mother would go to protect her child and that was the scariest part of the book. It is great for the newbie horror reader or someone who loves horror. I really can't wait to go back into this world.
