What started out as a fairly unassuming little novel about a woman working on a campaign against a postal directive in Norway quickly turned into an unexpectedly life-affirming and reflective read. Ellinor is sinking into an existential crisis of sorts after the death of a work colleague, but when she's assigned to work on the PR project he was working on, the postal directive gives her a new reason for being. I really liked what Hjorth had to say on the detrimental effects of apathy, which does a lot more harm than you might think. One to consider if you like quiet books about not very much at all!
