I ate this right up. Gobbled it up so fast. It had some of my favorite tropes, best friend's brother, forced proximity and enemies to lovers. I didn't want it to end.
Maaaaannnnnnn the hate and animosity between these two in the beginning was so strong, the tension sooooo thick, I really did not think that they would be able to move on past everything that happened in the past, especially Rhys. You could feel the tension between these two and could tell there was something more brewing underneath all the animosity, it was just bound to snap.
Once it snapped, these two just couldn't get enough of each other. I loved the growth of these two and how they opened up and became vulnerable with each other. There was really low angst around Elton finding out which I felt was absolutely needed for Everest to be able to move on from his guilt.
I loved the side characters so much especially bubbly Skylar. OMG!!! I can not wait for the next book!! I need it asap!
