Anastasia's Secret
by Susanne Dunlap
I picked this up after reading on the back that it was about Anastasia Romanov. Being the giant history dork that I am, I love the Russian Revolution. The story of the Romanovs is interesting and frightening, and the revolution is just simply fascinating. Surprisingly the book was pretty historically accurate (besides the romance, of course) which people tend to avoid when discussing Anastasia (see the animated movie, which I like but... is completely wrong). I liked the insight into the Romanov's life in imprisonment. It was also written very well. The beginning sounds like a young girl and you can tell by the language how Anastasia grows and matures even if her family fails to see it.
