I knew when I started this book that it might be a different kind of “happy-ever-after” romance but wow what a story! I had guessed the plot twist at a point when Abby and Olive were together and was sad to see I was correct. This story had me in tears so many times (especially chapters 22 and 23). I loved the three main characters. I loved to read a so realistic story. I loved that Abby chose the right choice. I would love to read a second book with these same characters… a kind of life later, how life continued years from now.
There were a few little tidbits I noted that irked me somewhat but it didn’t ruin the story or take away from the 5stars. They were just kind of pet peeves of mine that I would have shared if I had been a proofreader.
