like a lot of people this finale wasn’t the best - especially for a series that up to this point was really different and special and uniquely done in not only writing style and characters but also plot ideas.

this third book felt a bit... dry and dragged out.

it wasn’t horrible but sadly it wasn’t great either and because the other books in the series where great it kind of drags the entire series down a bit of the last book isn’t up to the standard that was set with the books before it.

overall i think that if your someone that can stop reading a series i would recommend reading the first book as a stand-alone or treading the first two books as a duology - that way it ends on a high note instead of a “it’s okay but eh”

bit disappointed and sad about this final book.
but overall happy to have completed a series i have been dragging my feet on and finally know how i feel about this last book.
