This book was absolutely incredible! I loved the budding friendship/relationship between Oscar and Ruby. The female friendship between Ruby and Jules is also one of the best friendships I've ever seen depicted in a book. This contemporary isn't all fluff and love -- real-world issues are talked addressed head-on (race, privilege, etc), and I think the author gave a lot of care and detail to these issues. This book has a lot going for it, and I feel so fulfilled after finishing it. I'll definitely be looking into more books by Jenn Marie Thorne.
