Daisy Jones & The Six
by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Sex, drugs, rock n roll. That’s Daisy Jones and the Six in a nutshell. But it’s also a tale of pain, triumph, loss, redemption, and love that will leave you hollow and broken in the floor. Follow the story of how a lost girl with an unforgettable voice comes together with a hot new band and changes their lives forever.
I enjoyed the rawness and reality of the book. It was also written in an interesting interview style format that kept it flowing but also allowed you to hear the different voices, see the differences of opinion, and put together multiple versions of the story to draw your own conclusions. This is an ingenious way to get the reader more involved in the story.
