great conversation with lolita from a feminist and modern perspective. i loved the nuance of abuse depicted and the portrayal of manipulation on a developing mind. there were times i had to put the book down and walk away with my mouth Open but it was such a rewarding read at the end. i think it misses some of the lyricism and poetry of lolita but it is valid as this comes from the perspective of the child and not the deluded abuser. all in all i loved! i wish i could read it again with no memory
