Autoboyography

So I’m going to start off with this; no book has ever stuck with me more than this one. This book is going to stick with me for the rest of my life. Why? Because Tanner is a replica of myself. Sebastian is along the lines of my boyfriends family (they are accepting and everything, but they give off the vibes of religious shit).
This book starts out with Tanner and Autumn. We learn very quickly that Autumn has been Tanners best friend since he moved to Provo, the LDS infested town in Utah. We also quickly get a backstory as to why Tanners mom was hesitant about moving to Provo. The first few chapter are written extremely well and I felt as if I was watching the first 20 minutes of a movie, with every detail being explained, but not too much.
We learn that Tanners parents, sister, and Aunties all are accepting of him being bisexual. His mom is especially supportive and uses bumper stickers to reinforce it. My mom is exactly like Jenna (minus the bumper stickers 😂 but man I wish). My mom was supportive the exact second I came out as trans and gay to her (and bisexual when I was 14, 2 years before I came out as a trans man when I was 16). The difference between my life and Tanners is that my granny, uncle, and cousins all are supportive. Another similarity I love between Tanner and me is that his auntie is gay, and married to a women, just like my auntie (and I love them so much like he does with his).
This book really stuck out to me as something that can relate to my life, which has never happened before. I loved every part of the book. It broke my heart when Sebastian first broke up with Tanner, I happy cried when Sebastian walked up behind Tanner at UCLA campus, I screeched in joy when Sebastian drew the mountain emoji in his book to Tanner, I cried when Sebastian decided to finally talk to his parents after deciding he wants Tanner over the mission. Every single scene to me was perfectly written.
I really have nothing negative to say about it. I love this book with all my heart.
