The Book of Witching

CJ cooke does it again! I have really enjoyed Cooke's books and her latest release did not disappoint. Immediate 5 stars. I really enjoyed the dual timelines had. We follow Allison from the1500's (who is based on a real person) and was accused of being a witch. We then follow mother and daughter Clem and Erin. Erin, the daughter, is connected to Allison the witch from the 1500's. The story was so well done. I really enjoyed Allison's story, and was glad that took up most of the story. The stories wove together nicely and the ending was done so well.
I would recommend this book if you enjoy stories about witches. This is not a cutesy witch story (thank goodness), this was heartbreaking at some points mostly because it's based on a true story and it was terrible what Allison had to endure.
10 out of 10 would recommend!
