we laughed, we cried, what a great time we had!
this book got surprisingly deep, but i think that made me love it more. these characters are so complex and beautiful that i think i’d read a full-length novel about them going grocery shopping and give it five stars.
it was also so poignant and powerful in ways i never expected. yes, this is a romantic contemporary novel. yes, it reminded me how strong and resilient the human spirit is. yes, you should read it.
