rozarka 's review for:
Bona Fide Fake
by Rebecca Raine
I'll be honest, I picked this book just because of the cover. The summary didn't appeal to me at all and frankly, I hate the title. And on top of that, I almost DNFed the book after one chapter, Toni's persona was too much for me and not in a positive way.
That being said, I freaking LOVED this book. The characters (yes, even Toni, his arrogant fake-ness in the first chapter was a deliberate choice by the author) were compelling, their relationships (not just with each other, but especially with those around them—their friends, their family) developed so naturally, and I loved that the main relationship was not an end goal, more like a catalyst.
Now I want this in paper >.>
