This starts out great. Chuck Klosterman touring the country for the death spots of rock stars? Count me in. But around the middle of the book, it all goes downhill. He turns the focus of the story onto his love life. The chapters begin to read like diary entries. The witty quips about pop culture fade away.

And the "ANYWAY."s every time he gets off topic is annoying.

There are some nice insights and inadvertent band recommendations, though, so that's nice.
