King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

I should probably start by saying that I absolutely LOVED the Six of Crows books, although I was not a big fan of the Shadow and Bone series. But there's this thing with Leigh Bardugos writing that just keeps you reading, so I did manage to get through all of the Alina books, even when I didn't like them.
I kind of expected this book to fall somewhere in between Six of Crows and the Shadow and Bone series for me, and I guess it kind of did, but also not really? Evidently I don't know how to rate this book, hah.
Her writing really shines in this book, and I have no complaints about the characterizations. It was so fun seeing all of the characters I love again, and especially Nikolai and Zoya (also Zoya, I would DIE for you.)
The pacing was also slower than usual, but I kind of liked that it was slow. I always found that the Grisha books always had too fast pacing.
I still don't know what I feel about the twist at the ending, but overall I really enjoyed being back in the Grishaverse!
