Rare and essential reading for any rural leader: artist, mayor, teacher, librarian, councilperson, volunteer, citizen, visitor. Required reading too... for urban dwellers, funders, and census takers. 

I loved this book. Both beautiful and helpful, it has every number or anecdote I always wished would make it to print. Finally, there seems to have landed a real resource for rural dreaming and doing.
