Delilah Green Doesn't Care by Ashley Herring Blake
5.0

I waited so long to read this one, but it was undoubtedly worth the wait. Bright Falls is the cutest little town in Oregon filled with romantic queer stories that will make you giggle with glee. Delilah and Claire are certainly an unexpected couple, especially given their history, but they mesh so well. The balance between Delilah's snark and Claire's sweetness is phenomenal, not to mention Claire's friend group dynamics. Like YES let's absolutely get rid of the Meredith Blake that is Spencer. Families are complicated, more so when you add grief and trauma into the mix. But it's addressed so well with characters actually working through their issues in realistic ways.

Delilah Green Doesn't Care certainly sets up the series well and gives you context for the books to come. This book is full of SO many lore drops for future books. But it also stands alone as a gloriously sapphic story full of humor and love. And I Just want to read it again.
