August 22 2018 update
Yeah so I'm not even going to bother reviewing this properly. I hated this book, every second of it. It was 2.5 stars when I first read it but now, 8 months later, I'm still pissed off at what Green did and I can't even remember the probably 2 things that I liked about it so I'm changing it to 1 star. I wish I hadn't read this book. I wish I had just stopped reading after book 2 while I still loved the series. All this book did was make me lose the love I had for the series and ensure that I'll never read another book by Sally Green. I'm sick of the narrative LGBTQ+ characters get in books/movies/TV shows/literally everything and I can't believe Sally Green decided to go with that same narrative that is such an insult to the LGBTQ+ community. This used to be one of my favourite series every. I'm sad and pissed off that it ended this way.
