Burma Chronicles
by Guy Delisle
If people wanted to get a taste of the power of what graphic novels or cartoons can do, i would 100% hands down recommend any of Guy Delisle’s works.
The Burma Chronicles continues in the style of turning his ordinary experiences in foreign countries (many of which are under dictatorships) into something interesting. It’s strange how he turns everyday life into something extraordinary. He’s one of my favorite storytellers and this story is just as good. You learn things you wouldn’t think you’d learn. You get a feel of Burma that many cant describe as effectively. His work is a joy!
