This was the book I needed at this exact moment in my life. The way that the friendships, not just between Sam and Penny, were flushed out made me think about my own college life and how I cope with being as introverted as I am. The real talk about depression and anxiety and relationships with both family and friends and how they can play to your mental illnesses were also very staggeringly real. I really love how slow this book was and took time to address everything the characters went through emotionally. It made it very real but wasn't crammed in your face. I really needed this book.
