Okay, first off, the main character being a Hufflepuff, yeah, that’s me totally. Yeah, I know there are some people out there who are tired of HP references, and I get it. But I for one am someone who loves all pop culture references, especially when they relate to something I love and still enjoy myself.

However there was so much more than that about her that was really so much me. The anxiety, the worrying about stuff, all of it was the exact kind of worrying and self-defeating talk that I tell myself all the time! But still, she was able to overcome, and so can I, with most things.

And while it was so easy to hate or dislike Tyler at first, as we got his side of the story, you could see why he was the way he was. And Mia was again, so much like me, in that she saw the best in everyone and was able to look forward and past things. But she also felt so strongly about how she perceived things at times that it hit my emotions as a reader and fellow anxious person.

A great book and I hope to read more by this author in the future!
