The Lights of Prague by Nicole Jarvis
5.0

This book has been on my Kindle for quite a long time but there was something that stopped me from starting reading.
Prague is one of the city of the White Magic Triangle (the others are Turin, my hometown, and Lyon) and it’s history and charme made me weary of starting a book that seemed to match all the ticks.
I was afraid of being disappointed but I was wrong because this is an excellent story, gripping and enthralling.
History, some steampunk aspects, history.
There’s plenty to love in this story and I was fascinated since the first pages.
Ora and Dome are two great characters, a sort of opposite that balance the book. i loved them.
The author is an excellent storyteller and the world building, magical system and character development are excellent.
The plot is tightly knitted and kept me hooked even if it’s a bit slow at the beginning.
I think that Nicole Jarvis will deliver other fascinating and intriguing story in the future.
This one is strongly recommended.e
