I didn’t really know what to expect when I started this book. I didn’t expect it to have as much fantasy in it as it did. There were several surprises and twists that made me keep reading and enjoying the story. I think the first half of the book was well paced, but I did struggle to keep reading… not sure if it was the story itself, or the crazy busy life I have that pulled me away. Once I got to about 60% in, I didn’t want to stop! I needed to know what was on the next page.
