Tylko sprawiedliwość by Bryan Stevenson

"Dying on some court schedule or some prison schedule ain't right. People are supposed to die on God's schedule."

This was heartbreaking but so important to read. While the movie starring Michael B. Jordan (*swoon*) looks amazing, it can't be as good as the book. I believe the movie focuses on Walter's story of being an undeniably innocent man on death row. However, the book also highlights many more stories of people given ridiculously long sentences due to poverty, lack of education, and the lazy/criminal/racist law enforcement/lawyers/judges involved.

Bryan Stevenson and his work are inspirational, and I hope he continues to make progress on criminal justice reform.
