This is the first in a spin off from the Black and Blue books and what a way to begin!

Will is now one of my most favourite characters of all. He just crept into my heart and snuggled himself in all because of the way his character has been so beautifully written. He has strength borne by a decade of homelessness but with his heart of gold Will is also a comforting presence to those around him. Jem is lively and engaging, clever, funny and kind. Put them together and these two wonderful characters really hold your attention and have you cheering them on right to the end.

Of course they must overcome some very dark and sinister goings on of the spooky kind as well as combat some of their own long held beliefs about themselves before they get a well earned HEA.
I would classify this as a low to medium heat read with a couple of well placed and very poignant moments highlighting the chemistry between Will and Jem and their developing feelings.

I loved how the paranormal aspects of the plot and the romance element were so perfectly balanced and this made for a page turner that I couldn’t put down! And what a treat it was to have some of the Black and Blue characters making timely appearances. Highly recommended.
