Luke by Cora Rose
4.0

“Breaking the rules is very tempting.”

And just like that I have another favorite in this series.
Luke you big softy and hilarious man, I just couldn't get enough.
Elliot is indeed Whit 2.0 but not as much, he has his own quirks.

These two were a complete surprise and it was hilarious how it all unfolds.
To go from bleeding in a coffee shop while getting coffee to being everything in the end.
The blue collar welding man & the quiet doctor.
Elliot & Luke kept me in their clutches until I finished.
Their story is so unique but in a way that I have only experienced one other time. The subject matter is a great one and the warnings are there for a brief reason but this book was done so good.

I love versatileness of these two, it works and it is so good.
The hesitance and the one sided feelings was a tough one to swallow but it made these two all the more interesting. Getting both POV's was a must for sure with this book and these two characters.
We get to see what happened prior to the laser tag date in Emery and also "that" moment when everything shifts.

The spice was definitely here, in all the ways!
Who knew it was in Luke, I sure didn't but I loved every second.
Elliot and his praise was -chefs kiss-
Oh the feelings with these two, one so forthcoming and the other who holds everything close until it's too late.
Definitely loving this series and all of these characters, especially when they overlap in all of the books!
