As a long, avid lover of the Percy Jackson world, this book was AMAZING. I have loved Nico since reading the Titan's Curse and have always wanted a book just about him. I love how we explored his relationship with Will and their quest in Tartarus. This book was everything I needed, and I need Nico to get another book (preferbably a book about him and his life up until we meet him in the Titan's Curse). I gave this book 4.25 stars, and everyone needs to read it.

Quotes:
- “There cannot be light without darkness, nor darkness without light. You must have the contrast for both to exist.”
- “Maybe it’s a quest for tartar sauce,” Percy said. “Something low-stakes and delicious.”
- “(There is nothing more disconcerting than waking in the morning and finding a freshly incarnated zombie standing over you, ready to take your breakfast order.)”
- “Don’t let go of me,” he said, holding his Stygian iron sword before him. “No matter what happens.” Will clutched him tightly. “I got you.”
- “Either way, it made Nico a little annoyed. Why did Will have to be so beautiful all the time?”
- “He sobbed, overwhelmed by how far he was from home. The thought made him cry harder because he wasn't even sure where home was.”
