The Last Jedi by Jason Fry
5.0

The Last Jedi 5⭐️❤️

The most recent of the Star Wars saga movies. This book is an expanded edition of the movie, so there was more detail, and right at the beginning with what I thought was Luke Skywalker and his wife. But no, that’s Jason Fry’s addition to the story of what he thinks Luke did while he was isolated on the island.

The women in this series is what impressed me the most! This is the second Star Wars book I read. I read Rogue One because I really liked how they made the women become such a stronger character than in the past movies. Star Wars The Force Awakens was good too. But The Last Jedi really awed me with so many awesome women... and other great characters too.

Princess Leia is no longer a princess but a General now, like my sister’s favorite quote “I've lived to see my childhood Princesses become generals” (Robin Wright from The Princess Bride to General Antiope in Wonder Woman, and now Leia). There is new characters too, Rose being one of my favorites.

I really enjoyed reading this novel and will be working on reading the other books in this saga (not including the movie stuff from the 90s which we need not even think of).
