rozarka 's review for:
The Haunting of Tram Car 015
by P. Djèlí Clark
This was such a delightful reading experience! Best fantasy I've read in quite some time.
What I expected to see when starting this book:
* djinns, angels, and other supernatural beings
* Cairo as a melting pot of different cultures and religions
* strong women (in all senses of the word)
What I got:
* suffragettes
* crossdressing men
* a fight for rights of intelligent AIs
* and all of the things mentioned above
It was even better than the first story from this world. Part of it was because of a bigger page count, but I also fell in love with the main characters, there were so cute :D
