I just had to read this on the day it came out!
After the tease and build up since the last release I was eager to see how the Mouse became mighty and handled the T-rex!!!
And although the subject matter was a bit darker than we are accustomed to from Nalini Singh, not to mention the taboo of an office romance, it was a fun and enjoyable read.
The high points for me were the witty dialogue, and the way you see Charlie's character develop throughout the story. She was scared but did not give up.
Nalini also gave us a male lead who was very much hard headed and strong willed, but one who revels in having a woman who can match him intellectually.

The Rock Kiss series is very different and not as deeply enthralling as the Psy-Changeling and Angels series from Nalini, but a good time nonetheless, as this author continues to draw us in with her eloquent spicy writing.

I am definitely looking forward to more in this series.

Oh P.S the ending was a bit abrupt. I was left feeling like...is that it? No more? :(
Hopefully we see more of this couple again in the series.
