A wonderful, captivating novel. I loved the details that the author put into her writing about the meanings of flowers and how the characters used flowers to communicate with each other. I also really appreciated how the storyline alternated between present and past, allowing the reader to better understand how Victoria came to the place in the world where she was. As any good story, I was left wanting to know more about how things ended with the characters. A great book to end 2013 with!
