Man, I can't believe just a few weeks ago I was in a reading slump. I have been loving the books I have picked up since SO FREAKIN' MUCH! Summers Temptation kept me up until 2:30 am on a work night because I couldn't stop reading. I have found my new book boyfriend, fell in love with the characters and the romance was just what I was looking for, and I didn't even know before I started reading. This is a great new adult contemporary. A great one!

Cassie is still reeling from her last heartbreak, and she has sworn off guys. Oh honey, I have heard that one before. But I give her props, she really stuck to it better than I thought she would be able to. She was able to convince herself that what she was doing was really no strings attached. But as much as I loved Cassie, I loved Tyler more. He was such an interesting conundrum. On one hand, he really did seem like such cold player, but then you get these little glimpses of the cracks in his facade. I lived for those moments. When we got to see the real Tyler. And each time, I liked him a little more.

I don't want to give too much away because this book is so fantastic as a complete story. There are ups and downs. Moments when I was smiling so big and cheering them on, and moments when I was close to tears. Lots and lots of feels in this one. I loved the characters quirks and by the end of the book, I was left with this overwhelming feeling of wanting to go back and read it again. I wish I had this one in a physical book so I could flag a bunch of pages and passages to go back and revisit again. I think this book stands alone, but there are still some things that I want answers on. Like the sick girl from the pictures Tyler has. I want to know more about her. I am super excited that there is going to be another book and it looks like it is still going to be about Cassie and Tyler! I can't wait. I love Tyler so much, that I want 6 more books about him!

Summers Temptation is such a tempting romance. Readers of New Adult will love this one! It is a winner! One of my favorites of 2014.
