Count Your Lucky Stars

Okay, I loved the first two books in this trilogy but I think this one was my fave! Margot is my fave of the MCs and her relationship with Olivia was full of pining, will they won't they, miscommunication (or full on lack of communication), tension (sexual and otherwise), not quite forced proximity, and sexy sexy times. They grew up as best friends, developed feelings and got together during spring break after Olivia's boyfriend broke up with her again, but then classic miscommunication meant they ended senior year apart and then didn't see each other for eleven years. Now, Olivia has moved to Seattle to work for an event planning company and happens to be sent in to help with Brendon and Annie's wedding last minute when their original venue isn't available. She also needs somewhere to stay unexpectedly so she and her cat move into Margot's spare room. So good! It made me want to reread the entire trilogy, which I just might!
Reread: Gah, this series is just so lovely! I have been realizing lately how much I love second chance romances and this is another that fits into that category. A queer love story where best friends turned more turned nothing for eleven years reconnect (and one has a Catz which is an excellent side character all on its own and causes some delightful scenarios)? Wonderful! I can never decide which book in the trilogy is my fave, but I think it's this one.
