Openly Straight

F****** Brilliant!
"Being gay maybe isn't a curse, but it's f*****g exhausting"
I have never resonated with a book so much in my life. I fell in love with Rafe and I'm so glad he wasn't your typical gay kid that some people tend to write about. I liked that he was gay, but didn't want it to define who he was. I understood his need to move schools to start over and I was so happy for him. The way this book is written just makes you call so deep into his mind and his feelings. It reminded !e of when I first came out and how I didn't want to be "that gay kid" either. The ending was bittersweet, I won't spoil anything but I have the short ebook "open, honestly" and the sequel "honestly Ben" all ready to go and can't wait to see how it turns out! Five stars isn't enough. 14/10 would highly recommend. A gay kid at a all boys boarding school. What could possibly go wrong?
