Lucy’s picture perfect life is upended when she discovers her husband’s affair. Instead of leaving him, they agree she can hurt him back three times in revenge. Naturally, chaos ensues. But a quiet chaos - I was struck by the delicate tone of this book, possibly heightened by the narrator’s voice (I wasn’t a huge fan tbh). I expected a bit more from The Harpy, a bit more oomph. I really liked the more mundane aspects where we get to grips with Lucy’s everyday reality as a work-from-home mother, but the actual mythical element left me wanting.
