Alright! I finished it! It was through sheer willpower and the need to finish this series I started so long ago, that I finally finished it! The writing is just so... juvenile! Argh! And the main character became the biggest Mary Sue EVER. Ugh. So I'm done. I love fantasy and dragons and unicorns, but my god this was way too saccharine and juvenile.
