Quick synopsis: DI Jimmy Perez is investigating the murder of a teenage girl found on the beach. She is found not far away from the home of the local outcast, Magnus Tait.

Thoughts: I only read this because I am a massive TV show fan. The books and TV show are very different, but I still enjoy them. I’ve been cursed (blessed?) with the ability to figure out the twists and murderers of movies/TV shows/books. I’ve ruined many plotlines for my family and friends. So, it’s rare that I don’t know who the killer is. This was one of the times I didn’t see it coming. In hindsight, I should have, but it was still a pleasant surprise to be wrong.
