The Way Life Should Be
by Christina Baker Kline
3.5/5 stars
After Angela loses her job she uproots her life and moves to Maine to be with the supposed man of her dreams. She quickly realizes this move wasn’t everything she expected it to be. Unsure of what to do she starts working at a coffee shop where she discovers true friends and a life that might just be better than she anticipated.
This was a quick, cute read but I was a bit disappointed by the ending. The main character has all these things going on at the end of the book and then it just ends ... I wanted to know if she was able to do any of those things, did she find a new love interest ... I just felt unsatisfied with how it all wrapped up.
Otherwise it was your typical starting over, light hearted read.
