Hosseini's writing is truly one of the most simple, yet most heart wrenching writing I have ever read. To casually be reading up until you get hit with one lines. I loved how he was able to use his platform to raise awareness on the female experience in the middle east, however, there were some occasions when I felt like the writing felt a bit short when describing those experiences. It would have been nice to read a similar story written by a woman who may or may not have experienced the events that take place in this story. However, even with those limitations, I think Hosseini did a good job representing a very underrepresented demographic.
