I’ve been wanting to try the authors books for the longest time and holy smokes am I ever glad I finally did, I’m obsessed with this one!! I was in it immediately, it starts off in such a heartbreaking yet completely gripping way and my connection never let up the whole time I was reading this. It’s soo emotional and raw but it’s also beautiful and the healing that Lydia and Colby go through is so genuine and pure. I loved Colby’s relationship with Lydia’s kids, it was the sweetest thing and I’m obsessed with the entire Morgan family. If you like single parent, firefighter, forbidden, angsty, found family and patient/therapist, I’m telling you this was so good!
