Okay, I know this book came out yesterday, but I need more from Jerry Craft ASAP. I truly didn't think Craft could top New Kid, but WOW, was I mistaken. The art is incredible and I loved the inclusion of all of the Easter eggs - super fun. This story tackles friendship and class privilege and a predominantly white school's attempt to diversify and make students of color feel safe. As with New Kid, Craft addresses various microaggressions that the students of color, and especially the Black main characters, face at school.
