I’ve already talked about this one a little bit so I’ll keep this brief. The romance was weak, it was not romancing, the characters felt flat and one dimensional and the historical timeline was boring. It just didn’t have the authors usual magic. Thank god for Julia Whelan, she’s phenomenal as always.
