This is book three in the series and I swear they just keep getting better! This had single parent, romantic suspense, small town and close proximity and I loved these tropes together so much. One of the things I like the most about the authors books is she blends suspense with an emotional component so well. One minute you’re reading an angsty and heartbreaking scene and the next you’re in the middle of a tense chapter with creepy vibes and it’s SO good. Both Ezra and Savannah were closed off and not looking for anything romantic but they were drawn together almost instantly and their bond ended up being so healing and beautiful for the both of them. Their chemistry was undeniable and this had some super steamy moments that balanced out the heavy emotions really well. Ezra’s kids were the absolute cutest things ever and the way they brought Savannah into their family was precious. This was such a great addition to the series, super swoony and touching I loved it
