I liked this a lot more than Legends and Lattes, most of my issues with the first book (not enough world building and a dearth of descriptions) were a lot better in this books. And I like the rest of the characters a lot more, and felt like we got to know them far more than the side characters in L&L.

This managed to keep the cosy vibes while being a slightly more high stakes which made for a more engaging story and better plot points than "this character just invented biscuits". (Also a side note that the baker in this makes biscuits, so why were thimblets such an amazing creation??) Basically I very much enjoyed this book!
